Same ole', same ole'

I feel like I've been doing pretty much the same thing day after day, which is why I haven't blogged too much in the past week. I just wake up, look for jobs, clean around the apartment, watch a movie or two, cook dinner, read, and go to bed. Sounds like so much fun, doesn't it?!

I guess some exciting stuff went down this past weekend though.... some of mine and Derek's good friends, Ryan and Ashton, got hitched Saturday evening. Even though I'm not a fan of "big weddings," it was probably one of the best weddings I've been to in a while... there was good music, good food, good drinks, and most importantly, good people. We had a blast meeting the bride and groom's extended families and dancing the night away.

My hot ceremony date, and good friend Audrey.

He cleans up pretty good, wouldn't ya say?

At the end of the night we sent the bride and groom off in a pink limo with shakers and birdseed. The majority of the bridal party and several of the bride's family members continued the party at a different location, and some people even decided to go skinny dipping in the lake! But then it was back to "the grind" come Monday... I turned in my application to an RN program I would LOVE to get accepted to. They only accept around 20 people to start in the spring and I am keeping my fingers crossed that I am one of them... I will get an official letter in 4-6 weeks so keep your fingers crossed for me!
