Friday night Derek and I joined some friends downtown at the river front to watch one of our good friends play guitar and sing. Since it was the first time I'd been out (and been ID'd) in forever, I found out my drivers license was expired! Thankfully the "bouncer" was nice enough to let me in, as long as I promised not to drink. So it was ice water all night for this girl. We still had a great time staying out too late and catching up with friends.
Saturday morning I woke up early to help my brother get moved in to his apartment. It had been a while since I'd seen my parents (and my sweet baby girl!). I hooked him up with a basket full of cleaning supplies, and mom and dad were nice enough to buy him some groceries. It was so surreal seeing my baby brother moving in to his very own apartment.
When I got back to town Saturday afternoon, Derek had finished working on his jet-jon boat and we took it out on her maiden voyage. Surprisingly, it worked perfectly. It was tons and tons of fun to ride in and Derek was grinning from ear to ear the entire time, knowing that his project worked. There is still some fine tuning and "prettying" to do but we are proud of it.
Sunday, we spent the morning doing yard work and cleaning around the house, and then broke off that afternoon for a cruise on the river. It was the perfect sunny afternoon and the perfect ending to the weekend.

that last picture of the lake with the clouds looks like a scene straight out of a nicholas sparks movie!!!
it's cute that you gave your bro cleaning supplies, as if he is going to ever clean his apt ;)
I can't see the whole thing obviously, but I may just love your white swimsuit. I've been looking for a white swimsuit for my upcoming honeymoon to no avail.
That one looks like a cutie.
