Can I say this weekend was awesome? Because it was freakin' awesome. We jammed so many activities into two days it isn't even funny. Let's start with Friday:
Derek went to his friend's house to continue to work on his boat and I decided to sit my happy booty at home and work on a few glasses of moscato while watching Safe Haven. I hadn't seen it yet because I was toying with the idea of reading the book first, but I'm always disappointed when that happens so I just watched it. I give it two thumbs up for sure. Except the part where that one lady was a ghost the whole time, that was pretty weird. Sorry if I just ruined that for you.
Saturday we got up at the ass crack of dawn to go to the Santuck flea market. Lemme tell ya, this flea market ain't no joke. There were people EVERYWHERE and cars were backed up for miles. We didn't end up buying much, Derek got a new pocket knife, and I got some peaches and Amish cheese (which is delicious). I have big plans for the peaches, so stay tuned for that. That night we went to a friend of Derek's wedding in Bham, which was fun, except I didn't know anyone so it was also a little awkward.
Sunday we rode the jetski for a few hours then came back to do a few things around the house. I did a deep clean on my car, and Derek continued to work on his boat project... thank the lort he finally brought the dang thing back home so he won't be out late anymore.

1 - Cold vino on a Friday night. 2 - All of the people at the Santuck Flea Market. 3 - More people. 4 - If you live around here and have never had Jim 'n Nick's lemonade, you are missing out. 5+6 - We didn't take any pictures while we were actually at the wedding so we snagged some in the car. Derek's face cracks me up in both of these.. he couldn't handle the flash. 7 - Taking the jetski out on Sunday morning. 8 - My hair was a wreck after riding, it literally took an hour to brush it out. 9 - Made more banana bread a la Alexis.

Sounds like a super fun weekend! Nothing wrong with relaxing with a glass of wine while the boys work.
