Rodan + Fields Mini-Facial + a Giveaway!

I was sent samples of the following products to review in exchange for my honest opinion. No other compensation was received.
Through high school I was one of the lucky few to not have acne the majority of the time. Sure I got a pimple here and there (I got a MASSIVE one a few days before freshman picture day - kill me) but it wasn't often, and usually only one at a time. Thankfully this continued on into my adult years.
However I do have what the professionals call "combination" skin, where I am oily on certain parts of my face, and other parts are dry. I have problems with blackheads and dry skin on my forhead between my eyebrows. Enter Rodan + Fields Dermatologists and their products. Until recently, I didn't have a "skin care routine" but as I grow older I am starting to realize the importance of moisturizing, exfoliating, and taking care of my skin in general.

I got a great start with my "mini-facial" kit sent to me by my R+F consultant, containing micro-dermabrasion paste from their ENHANCEMENTS line and night renewing serum and lip renewing serum from their REDEFINE line of skin care products.

Before

This was my first time ever using any type of micro-dermabrasion treatment, so I didn't quite know what to expect, nor do I have anything to compare this experience too. My thoughts: the micro-dermabrasion paste was a good consistency, it wasn't too rough on my skin. The scent was a good lemony-fresh type scent that wasn't too overwhelming.

During

It left my skin feeling soft and not irritated, and I noticed that all the dry skin between my eyebrows and around my nose had virtually disappeared. I also noticed significantly less visible blackheads.
Next up were the night renewing and lip renewing serums. I applied the night renewing serum all over my face, and it felt like silk while I was rubbing it in. I literally couldn't stop touching my face because it felt so soft. The lip renewing serum felt a little oily at first, but after I rubbed some off my lips it felt like the best chapstick I've ever used, but better.

Immediately after

The next morning, my skin felt the softest its ever been and I noticed a definite difference in the overall oilyness versus dryness in my skin. I didn't even need to apply carmex once the whole next day (and you all know how much I love my carmex) because my lips were smoooth as butter. I would highly recommend any of these products, but out of the three my favorite was the micro-dermabrasion paste, I think it was the most beneficial for my skin.
