I CALL IT A WIN

I'm just going to jump right in to this weekend recap, skipping over Friday to Saturday evening at approximately 6:31 p.m. CST. Let me set the scene:
Auburn/Georgia is the oldest rivalry in the SEC, even older than Auburn/Alabama. Auburn has lost to Georgia the past two years in a row. Auburn has been ahead the entire game, until the 4th quarter. Georgia scores with less than three minutes remaining, and are ahead by one point. The Auburn offense can't seem to break through Georgia's defense. It's 4th and 18, Auburn is near midfield with less than one minute to get into field goal range, the score is 38-37.

Some called it luck, some called it a miracle, and some even said it was Divine Intervention. I call it a win.

WHAT A CATCH!

Never in my life have I been so nervous before a play. I was only praying for a completion. Our whole tailgate was in silence as we watched, and afterward the screams were deafening. I was bear hugged my three grown men at one time, none of whom I knew, and it was okay because in Auburn, we're all family. I can honestly say this was the most exciting moment in Auburn football I've ever watched. Tears were definitely shed. 

 

I really didn't have time for a lot of pictures, being that the game was so intense. Sunday Derek and I hung out around the house and I got an itch to do some crafting. Here is the final result:

As you can see, I still was feeling the Tiger spirit. I heard a friend of mine talking about another friend of hers who had the Aubie "classic" door hanger. I thought to myself... I could make that. So I did. What do ya think?

And then I turned a weekend recap post into a post all about Auburn.
