Firstly, I want to give a big BIRTHDAY SHOUT OUT to my Mom, who is turning 50 today. I'm sure she doesn't want me to tell you all of that but she'll get over it I'm sure.

It's been a long weekend folks. Friday, Derek and I headed to Atlanta for the Petit le Mans 10 hour race. Rather than bore you with too many details, I'll let the pictures do the talking.

 Sunday night we got back and went to dinner with Derek's parents and ate waaayyyy too much food.

I had a wonderful weekend celebrating Derek's birthday and wish I could have that much fun all the weekends. We have decided though that we're going to make some more trips to Atlanta, being that it's so close, and has so much to do. I for one want to see the Bodies Exhibit and Derek wants to go bike shopping, since instead of "Christmas presents" to each other, we're both getting new mountain bikes.

Patrick Dempsey aka Dr. McDreamy walked RIGHT BY me and even though I thought I was going to faint, I was able to remain calm enough to snap a few pictures for you guys. If you're wondering why McDreamy is at a le Mans, well it is because he is a racecar driver/ team owner and you can read all about it here.
